Walter Alfred Clary

Rev. Walter Alfred Clary, 69, of Troy, Kansas passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Wathena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Walter was born on March 2, 1956, in Highland, Kansas to Gerald and Shirley (Ragan) Clary. He was a member of the Sparks Community Church, where he served as Pastor for many years. Throughout Walter's life he also cooked and managed Rosecrans Café, Sparks Restaurant and Ernie's Bar and Grill. Walter married Mary K. Jancich. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray Eugene and Danny Clary, nephews, Joseph, Travis and Andrew Clary and a great niece, Blaine Clary. Additional survivors, siblings, Rick Clary (Amy), Larry Clary (Sharon), David Clary (Rose) and Sharon Gentry (Ron). Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2025.
At the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas.
Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Friends may call after 12 noon Thursday
Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Walter A. Clary Memorial Fund.
