Gary Manfull Obituary

Gary Robert Manfull, 64, of Montour, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 from 1-4 PM at the Tama American Legion. Gary was born on June 13, 1960, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Larry and Joyce (Zenor) Manfull. He graduated from South Tama County High School in 1978. Gary worked at Donaldson Company in Grinnell, John Deere in Ankeny, and then farmed alongside his father for many years before taking over the family farm. His greatest joy was being with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, slow pitch softball, and stock car races. Survivors include his children, Maria (Luke) Veren, Emily (Troy) Balderas, Grant Manfull, Hannah (Connor) Lange, Abbey Manfull, Tabby (Paden) Himes, Ty Steffensen, and Tad Steffensen; nine grandchildren; mother, Joyce Manfull; sister, Diane (Doug) Anderson; brother, Doug (Beth) Manfull; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry. Memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice.
