Billy Fisher Obituary

Billy Ray Fisher, 80, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation.
He worked for Gamble Brothers and retired from E-town Sportswear. He also was a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church, where he was active in their Seniors Group and choir.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda Edlin Fisher; and his parents, William R. and M. Catherine Nally Fisher.
Survivors include his mother-in-law, Virginia Wiseman Edlin; brothers-in-law, Leonard Stoy Edlin Jr., Shirley Joe Edlin and Randall Lewis Edlin; sisters-in-law, Etzel Stopher, Laura Elizabeth Mullins and Caroline Cline; nine nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and
-nephews.
The funeral is 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 25, at Youngers Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Kappel Funeral Home in Boston and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael Stopher Benefit Fund at West Point Bank in Elizabethtown.
Kappel Funeral Home Boston Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
