Marty Keeling Obituary

Marty Watts Keeling, 50, of Bardstown, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born Nov. 12, 1962, in Bardstown. She was a nurse for Beverly Health and Rehab, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, H.O.S.A., and W.K.U. Ducks Unlimited.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Keeling and Joey Keeling; her parents, James and Barbara Watts; a sister, Madeline Jean Watts; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Madeline Roberts and paternal grandparents, Earl and Nellie Watts.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Keeling; a daughter, Sara (Travis) Vittitow, a granddaughter, Ashtyn Vittitow; two sisters; Debora Blandford and Angela Watts; two brothers, James "Bo" (Debbie) Watts and Dean (Katy) Watts, all of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer officiated.
Memorial contributions may go to American Heart Association, St. Joseph Building Fund and Scholarship Fund for Joey Keeling.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
