Barbara "Barb" Sjolander

WINTER HAVEN, FL - Barbara "Barb" Sjolander, 67, passed away in Winter Haven, FL on June 5, 2021 following a nine month battle against lung cancer. Barb was born to Robert and Pearl Leisgang on July 25, 1953. She married Richard "Dick" Sjolander on April 7, 1973 at First Lutheran Church in Onalaska.

Barb was a spirited woman who was never afraid to let people know what she thought, yet was always there to listen and offer advice or help - a quality which anyone who had the fortune of meeting her could recognize. She loved to paint and create art and jewelry for her friends and family. More than anything though, she loved spending time with her friends and family members.

She is survived by her daughters: Jennifer (Josh) Miller and Deanna (Blake Hausladen) Sjolander; granddaughters: Allyson Larson and Rhyen Larson; and many siblings; nieces; nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sjolander and parents: Pearl and Robert Leisgang.

Those who wish to gather in memory of Barb are welcome to join family and friends on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 1 - 4:00 p.m. at the Onalaska Legion, 731 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650.
