Cheryl Lynn Pataska

LACROSSE, WI - Cheryl Lynn Pataska passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born on March 20, 1972 in La Crosse to Rolland and Sharon (Dayton) Pataska. Cheryl graduated from Holmen High School in 1990. One of her favorite things was watching Survivor. She would call her mom afterwards and they would talk about it. She loved making crafts for her family for the holidays, shopping at the Dollar Store and going out to lunch with her mom and sisters. Most of all she loved being with her family. Cheryl will be missed.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon; sisters: Terry (Dan) Schleifer, Vicky (John) Goubeaux, Laurie Pataska; brothers: Rolland (Dawn), Jr. and Steve (Brooke); along with several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Rolland, Sr.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Windy Ridge Care Center.

I had the pleasure of providing care and getting to know for Cheryl for 2-3 years as a Direct Support Professional through Innovative Services Inc.
I provided care through Innovative Services Inc, from October 2018-March 2021.
I will always remember singing in the car with Cheryl when taking her to doctors appointments.
She loved music by Cher and Rick Springfield.
She always gave me the latest updates on Survivor.
She enjoyed making crafts for the staff at Innovative Services.
And spending time with her cat (I forgot his name, but I remember he was a big orange cat.)
Cheryl will be deeply missed, and I am beyond blessed to have gotten to know Cheryl.

Cheryl was beautiful inside and out, so many childhood memories all the way back to Oak Grove Elementary where we met, fly high beautiful angel ❤ so sorry for your loss

I'am so very sorry for your loss. Cheryl and I had been friends from back in elementary school. I have so many wonderful memories of our childhood, from back in Midway. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
