Christine Portzen Metzler, 68, of Onalaska, went to Heaven on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th, from 4:00-8:00 PM, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska. The following day, her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with a visitation the hour before, at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following the service at the Onalaska City Cemetery, around 12:15 PM. A luncheon will be provided at Drugan's Golf & Supper Club immediately following the funeral services. For further information or to leave condolences, please visit www.schumacher-kish.com.

Dave and family, I want to extend my sincere condolences on the death of Christine. She was a remarkable and wonderful person whom I had the great privilege to get to know. I'm afraid I saw this obituary too late to be able to attend the services in person - I apologize for that.
