Dear family. We are so sad to hear about Frida's passing. We have such nice memories about Frida. We met at Mindrum's Family Reunion first in 2004 and then in 2014, and she took us to Wisconsin and Norskedalen. In July 2016 Frida and family visited us at Haugtrø farm in Noway. They stayed just for one day, but we managed to get around and see a lot, and had great fun together. Frida was such a lively person and we are very happy to have learned to know her as a friend and part of our american Family.

My parents, Ernest and Grace Hanson, were longtime Yggrasil members with the Nowlands. I have sent a gift to Norskdahlen in Freida's memory. I hope to see you back at the YMCA, Ron!

Dear Ron and family Judd and I are so sad to read of Frida's death. What a vibrant light she was in the La Crosse Area Synod for all the years I was there and way beyond. She is a dear sister in Christ and a wonderful witness in word, in deed and in hospitality. How we will all miss her. You have our deepest sympathy. April Ulring Larson and Judd Larson

My thoughts and prayers are with the Nowland family at this time. My parents enjoyed Freida (and Ron´s) friendship while they were in Janesville. I also remember her as a friendly and helpful librarian at Parker High. She was a kind woman who will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to your whole family in Frieda's passing. I have many fond memories of Frieda and Ron while I was growing up, as well as the last few years in La Crosse. I have forwarded the obit to Fountain Lutheran. Wonderful pic from Mother's 100th birthday party.
