James "Jim" R. Thornton
LA CROSSE - James "Jim" R. Thornton, 90, of La Crosse, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Benedictine Villa, La Crosse.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 2006 Weston St., La Crosse. Rev. Brian D. Konopa will officiate. Entombment with Military Honors performed by the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post No. 52 will be held in the St. Joseph Mausoleum, Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at Church on Saturday. The funeral mass will also be streamed at http://www.mmoclacrosse.org/
