Janet Fandel Obituary

Janet died peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 30th.
She was born on September 1, 1947, in Sparta, Wisconsin, to Leo and Kathryn Endres. In 1970, she married Albert Fandel, and they began their family. She dedicated many years of service to the Wisconsin Challenge Academy. Her primary focus was raising her family and enriching their lives.
Janet is survived by her loving husband, Albert of Sparta; her children, Brian Fandel of Broomfield, Colorado and Denise (Dave) Markos; and grandchildren, Jeffrey and Brittany Johnson of La Crosse. She is survived by her siblings, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tracy Lee; and son, Eric Paul; along with her parents, Leo and Kathryn.
Service will be on October 10, 2025, at St. Pat's Church Sparta. Luncheon to follow.

I'm from Kentucky. I met Janet in 1966, while i was in the Job Corps at camp Mcoy, in Sparta, Wi. We became very good friends. She was very respectable. She will always be a part of my young life, that i will always Remember, RIP Jan
