Jeffrey D. Troyanek

Jeffrey D. Troyanek, 58, of New Munster, passed away from ALS Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Jeffrey was born June 12, 1962 to Herman and Betty Jean (nee Podawitz) Troyanek in La Crosse, WI. He attended high school in LaCrosse and earned his degree at Kansas University. On March 28, 1981 he was united in marriage to Cindy Jo Clark in Pt. Loma, California. Jeff served his country, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he worked for 26 years and retired as a Lt. Commander.

Jeff is survived by his wife Cindy; children: Christina (Andy) Jankowski and Andrew Troyanek; his grandchildren: Alyssa and Brooklyn Jankowski. He is further survived by his brother Gary (Connie) Troyanek and a sister Nancy (Tony) Troyanek-Greenlee; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Nicholas; brothers; Paul and David Troyanek; and a sister Geri Stangl.

Services for Jeff will take place on Saturday April 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wheatland Presbyterian Cemetery. Relatives and friends can visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday April 24, 2021 from Noon until time of service at 1pm.
