Paul 'Paulie' I. Romskog
Paulie passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home Monday, April 5, 2021. Paul Irvin Romskog was born Oct. 12, 1957, in La Crosse, to the late Irvin Romskog and Joyce (Gilbertson) Romskog. After more than 25 years of working in construction in Texas, he returned to Holmen, to help care for his mother and worked for neighboring farmers and friends. Paulie enjoyed family and friends along with fishing and hunting and snowmobiling.
Paulie is survived by his children, Anna (Clayton) Bennett, Jack Romskog, Christina (Garrett) Chandler, and Rebecca Romskog; grandchildren, Sophie and Ava Bergelin and Jack and Waylon Bennett, Emma and Leighna Romskog, Noah and Oliver Chandler; his sisters, Donna Anderson and Gayle "Susie" (Steven D.) Johnson. He is further survived by his "brother"/cousin, Todd Romskog, close cousin, Scott Johnson; aunt and uncle, Ruth and Morgan Jostad, aunt, Alice VandeWater; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his grandparents, Julian and Emma Romskog, and Benny and C. Eva Gilbertson.

I will never forget all the good times with Paulie and Todd cruising around in his yellow Chevelle. If there are tractor pulls in Heaven, here comes a grand Champion. He leaves a legacy in all who loved him.
