Dear Claudia,
I want to express my deep sympathy to the loss of your husband, Chris. I met him in 1970 or ´71 when he spent some time in Austria and studying German in Bavaria. My sister and I became good friends and I just today found a few letters that Chris had written to me. I was 15 then and quite discouraged after having moved to Austria and leaving all my Christian friends behind. He was very encouraging and always pointed me back to the Lord! I am happy to hear that you had wonderful years with each other! May the Lord comfort you and keep you safe!
If I ever come to California, I would love to meet you!
