EMILY MAE JOLLEY 102 Years, 5 Months & 4 Days Born May 14, 1901 in Georgetown, Penns ylvania. Passed away October 18, 2003 at the Motion Picture and Television Home in Calabasas. Emily will be forever remembered as the loving matriarch of a third generation show business family. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, actor I. Stanford Jolley, at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, the site of the old Providential Ranch, and on one of the locations where he appeared in literally hundreds of old western serials, movies and TV series and shows. Emily's deceased daughter, Sandr a Jolley Carson, was an Earl Carroll Show Girl and was married to actor Forrest Tucker, and at her death married to renowned comedian and actor, Jack Carson. Emily is survived by her Oscar nominated son, Motion Picture Producer, Director, Writer, and Production Designer, Stan Jolley; and by three grandchildren, Karen E. Nauyoka, Christina A. Cortes and Pamela Tucker. Her Pennsylvania Dutch heritage and independence put Emily in good stead at the Motion Picture and Television Home where she most gratefu lly resided the last 12 years of her life, and where her fellow residents, doctors, staff and employees, loved her for her resilience and determination to try and do things for herself, right up until the time she was called by her maker.
