James Attarian Obituary

JAMES E. "JAY" ATTARIAN July 6, 1925 - June 3, 2007 Jay joined the Lord on June 3rd after a long illness. He served the Lord as an Elder in the Presbyterian Church for many years, was a Past President of Optimist International and served as a real estate broker for over 50 years in the L.A. area. Jay will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 y ears, Virginia; son, Keith; daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Raymond; and his dearly loved granddaughters, Chelsea and Heather; daughter-in-law, Ann; sister, Alice; brother and sister-in-law, George and Sheila; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. His son, Bruce, preceded him in death. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at St. James Presbyterian Church, 19414 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Optimist Youth Home, 6957 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90042 or a charity of your choice in his honor.
