Jenelle Bell Obituary

JENELLE GAE BELL
Sept. 16, 1938 - Dec. 14, 2011

Daughter of Fred and Mary-Ellen Thomas, twin sister of Jenette Mae Piper, sister of Fred and Frank Thomas, mother of Diane Lee and Jeffrey Bell, grandmother to Jake and Alexis Lee, and Grant, Helena and Everett Bell, wife of Roy Bell. She also leaves behind Lily Bell, Dana Bell, Brett Wells and Robert Lee. Jenelle died suddenly on December 14, 2011, 13 months after the death of Jenette.

Jenelle was born in Drumright, Ok and lived in Kansas, Kentucky and Indiana before moving to Abilene, Texas in the 1950's as her parents followed the oil drilling business. She married Roy Bell in 1958, they lived the next 53 years in the San Fernando Valley.

Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren. Her greatest work and joy was as a Children's Advocate for the City of Los Angeles. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Utter McKinley San Fernando Mission Mortuary, 11071 Columbus Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345. UTTER McKINLEY SAN FERNANDO MISSION MORTUARY
