JOHN SANDERS Obituary
Born on January 13, 1923, and after a beautiful, full life, passed away at 93 years old on December 3, 2016. He was a beloved teacher, principal, leader, coach, athlete, CIF president, mentor, poet, and friend to so many. John is survived by his wife, the love of his life Barbara; their sons, Greg, Don; daughter-in-law, Jennie; three grandsons Bryan, Shawn, Dugan; and great grandson, Zac.
The services to celebrate John's life will be held January 7, 2017, 1:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Reseda. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given in John's name to the First United Methodist Church of Reseda.

To Barbara and Family:
What a wonderful man and friend. John was the principal at Cleveland High School when I was coaching and teaching there and he was a great principal and supporter of the athletic program, coaches and teachers. As long as you did your job, he would support you all the way but if you didn't do your job he would let you know about it and he would attempt to help you get back on track to do the job right.
Words cannot express how great John was as a person. If we had a world made up of people like John, the world would be a great place to live.
My prayers and condolences are with you Barbara, Greg, Don and the rest of the family
