I am so very sorry for the loss of this beautiful woman. She was my step-aunt. My grandfather is Emmett Brewer. There is a little less sunshine today. Thoughts and prayers are with Kim's family. Sincerely, Angie Preston

My husband and I met Kim & Bob almost 20 years ago when we were both visiting Charleston. Since then, we had traded letters about travels and our pets. I'm heartbroken she is gone. I will miss my penpal - may Kim rest in peace with Bob and Daisy.

Dana, I actually met Bob, your father, in 1994. He came to the house in Malibu overlooking the ocean, the one with the tennis courts, while we were staying there. He was quite friendly. Our friends knew Bob and Kim better. - John and Patricia

We miss having Kim in our life. She bore the burden of widowhood well, always patient and gracious. She could be an animated conversationalist. We helped to celebrate several of her Independence Day birthdays and she accompanied us to some of our gourmet club monthly outings. In the end, she went out in the same way as the saintly woman known as the Peace Pilgrim. - John and Patricia
