Out of the blue, the name Marilyn Luckey had come to mind today. I was deeply saddened finding her name in the obituaries. I was a 5th and 6th grade student at Santa Susana school. How fortunate for I to attend there, what a special place. Marilyn was a wonderful person. Even putting son Lance in contact with me for a film project he did for film school. He was so nice, It was obvious the kids were raised well. I´m sorry to see she passed, but ohhh... how she touched so many lives. She will always live on in hearts.

Dear Dick and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Marilyn and Dick's generosity and kindness made such a tremendous impact on my life, and I literally wouldn't be here in California, nor ever met my wife nor had these kids, were it not for the hospitality and decency of the Luckeys. Yet, even as we miss her, there is no doubt that she remains watching over us, with an ebullient spirit eternally filled with her wonderful laughter. God Bless,
Arge O'Neal

Dear Daddy,
We all love you so much. Know that your children are here for you. To support, comfort and grieve along side you.The days will get easier and our love for you will carry you though this difficult time. Mom is all around us. You can see her in the hummingbird flitting about your waterfall, or the numerous lizards racing across the pool deck,or her beloved fish whom she overfeed every day. Look for her in the clouds, feel her on the breeze. She is with us. Once you get past this devastating grief you only have to open your heart and free your soul to hear her.

I was very sorry to hear the news of Dr. Luckey's passing. She had such an impact on so many children through out the years at Santa Susana, especially Breanne & Blake. I have fond memories of her, Mary and the rest of the family at little school nestled in the trees. My Prayers are with you all.
