PATIENCE "PAT" PIETSCH

April 22, 1917 - October 7, 2010 Born in Ryder, North Dakota, the daughter of Mary and William Carter. She was one of seven children. Pat met her future husband Frank Pietsch, while living in Michigan. They were married February 7, 1942 in Missouri, while Frank was in the Army. During the later 40's and early 50's Pat worked as a comptometer operator at Thomas Cadillac in Los Angeles while her husband pursued a chemistry degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1954, Patience and Frank were blessed with the birth of their only child Jim (James Charles Pietsch). Beloved Patience is survived by her son; three grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren and Courtney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
