Patrick Michael Loughran

Pat is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis, daughter Patricia Brand and her husband, Craig; son, Kenneth Skinner and his wife, Cecily. He also left three grandchildren, Dylan, Riley and Gregory and his wife, Melissa and three great grandchildren, Eric, Brett and Rachel. Pat also left behind his twin sister, Margaret; sister, Anne and was predeceased by sister, Kathleen Schneider. Pat was born in Clifton Springs, New York on February 9, 1926 of Scottish and Irish parents. Pat joined the Navy in World War II during which time he did a tour of duty in Japan. After the war, he returned to Long Beach, California where he met his future wife, Phyllis. Eventually they bought Fio Rito's Restaurant which they have owned for over 35 years. We are sorry to hear of Pat's passing. He was a good friend to all. We enjoyed talking about the area of the country we came from. He was a true good friend and he will be missed. God Bless and Keep Him.

Before we moved to Texas in 2005, Mary and I were frequent diners at Fio Ritos, laughing at Pat's jokes and enjoying his company. I still tell all of Pat's jokes that I can remember today. We remember Pat as being on of the warmest and friendliest men we've known. Pat has given us 35 years of great memories that we will always cherish as long as we live. We pray for God's special healing for the hearts of Pat's family, employees and friends. God Bless, Rick & Mary Finger

What a special man Pat was indeed. I grew up in Rossmoor and the Hayward family enjoyed many years of wonderful meals at Fio Ritos -my father Ed Hayward and Pat enjoyed many great chats, God bless the loved ones left behind.

Pat was one of the truly great guys we have known. We will miss his visits to our table and of course the jokes. Deepest sympathy.

Pat certainly redefined the term "good man." He was a true friend to everyone he met. Pat will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. His contagious sense of humor was appreciated by all who knew Pat. Our condolences to his lovely family.

My sincere condolences to the Loughran family. I was an employee at Fio Rito's in the early 1980's, working as a waitress. I really enjoyed working for Pat and remember how he would stop and talk to all the customers. He always had a joke or two and made my working hours a lot of fun! I know he will be missed by many, many people.

To the Loughran family sorry for your lost as I lost my father a few months ago also. Pat was a really nice guy and love spending a few minutes with him. Fio Ritos was my first job in the early 70's and the service and food has been great since than.
