Ruth Shelley

RUTH OBERG SHELLEY Age 88, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Hemet Valley Hospital. Born November 26, 1915 in Duluth, Minnesota, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Solberg and John Alfred Oberg, as well as her siblings, Ellen Gaffney, John A. Oberg, Jr., and Doris Berhold. Ruth was active in the Peer Gynt Lodge of the Sons of Norway for over 42 years and a member of Eastern Star since 1934. Ruth is surviv ed by her two children, Lynn Long and Craig Shelley, both of Murrieta, California; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, all of whom adored her. A Memorial Service is planned at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Riverside Drive in Studio City, 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2004.
