SUSAN WATERMAN Obituary

S USAN ANNE WATERMAN Died of congestive heart failure in Canoga Park, California, on October 28, 2009. Susan was born October 3, 1944 to Willard Lewis Waterman and Mary Anna Theleen Waterman in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She moved with her family to the San Fernando Valley in Southern California in 1945 and lived there for the remainder of her life. She leaves behind her sister, Lynne W. Ansara and brother-in-law Robert M. Ansara; nieces, Julie L. Ansara (Andy Greenberg), Valerie M. Ansara, Jennifer A. Mc Neely (Matthew), and their children respectively: Siena Greenberg, Aliya Greenberg, Lindsey Serio, Jacob Orme, and Grace McNeely. The family resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. Susan had a passion for animals, particularly unwanted dogs and cats. She devoted 22 years to the Pet Adoption Facility in Canoga Park, caring for the animals and assisting in the office. Many dogs and cats that were not adoptable owe their lives to her devotion. Her friends there both human and animal will miss her dearly. A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009, 11:00 a.m. Please call (818) 340-1186 for details. Her family asks that any memorial donation be sent to Pet Adoption Fund, 7507 Deering St., Canoga Park, CA 91303. Services are being held privately.
