Theodore Varela

THEODORE G. "TEDDY" VARELA Born April 18, 1923, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Teddy fell asleep in death on January 04, 2007. He is survived by his six daughters, "Sissy" Georgene, Linda, Connie, "Stefie" Stephanie, "Angie" Angela, and "Birdie" Roberta; his four sons, "Chuco" Ted Jr., "Davey" David, "Ricky" Richard, and "Ronnie" Ronald. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Georgina; and two s ons, "Stevie" Stephen and Leonard. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. His humbleness and kindness was a virtue to us, for he overcame the burdens of life and made stepping stones of them to provide for his family. The trials that he endured set a fine example for us and for the extended families from his children's marriages. For his love, compassion and patience, we give him our honor and gratitude, for he was a wonderful father and role model that brought much appreciation from all those who knew him. He will always be a part of our life in memory and in action. We would like to give thanks to all of his relatives, friends and those who knew Teddy, for giving him happy memories that he carried with him through these many years, "May God bless all of you". Services will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321, on Friday, January 12, 2007. Viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m.; Services will be at 10:00 a.m.
