Dan E. Davis

Don E. Davis, age 72, of Jellico (Oswego), passed away Thursday, March 23, at the North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born Nov. 8, 1944 in Jellico. Don was a long time member, Deacon and Treasurer of the Oswego Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of the Jellico Masonic Lodge 527 F&AM since Jan. 23, 1970. Don was preceded in death by parents, Caleb and Lena Baker Davis.
He is survived by wife, Frances 'Tootsie' Davis and son, John Davis. A host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
A special thank you to his girls the caregivers and nurses at the LaFollette Dialysis Clinic and his drivers with ETHRA.
Services were held March 26 at the Oswego Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Junior Dople, the Rev. Mark Stanley and the Rev. Shawn Ivey officiating. A Masonic Service was performed by the Jellico Lodge 527 F&AM. Interment was in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
Harp Funeral Home, of Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
