Jim F. Lambdin

Jim F. Lambdin, 87, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, December 2 at 2:11 a.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1930 in Lott, Kentucky, the son of the late Joe and Zima (Leach) Lambdin. On September 21, 1952, Jim married the former Juanita Evans, who preceded him in death May 26, 1999.
He is survived by two children, Kyle (Marsha) Lambdin of Sidney and Keith (Deb) Lambdin of LaFollette; seven grandchildren, Jesse (Ann), Robyn, Keisha, Matthew, Jacob (Kristen), McKenzie and Kiran Lambdin; five great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Alek Lambdin, Ashlynn Miller, Kylee and Braxton Suttles; one sibling, John Dudley of Warren, Mich. and six half siblings, Martha, Carl, Louis, Betty, Mike and Roy. Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Craig Gillis Lambdin of Warren, Mich.
Mr. Lambdin was employed by the former Stolle Precession as a Machinist, retiring after 25 years. Jim was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Temperance Lodge 73 Free and Accepted Mason.
He was a member of Sidney Baptist Church where funeral services were held Wednesday, December 6, at 10 a.m. at Sidney Baptist Church, 1322 E. Court St., Sidney with Pastor John Butts officiating. Burial followed at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio with Military Honors. Friends were received Tuesday, December 5, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney.
