Joe Douglas Obituary

Joe Terry Douglas, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 18 at his residence in Jellico.
Terry was preceded in death by his son, Darren Douglas; father, George Douglas; mother, Flora Huddleston Douglas; brothers, Cleve Douglas, Pete Douglas, Horace Douglas, Kyle Douglas, John Douglas and George Jerry Douglas (twin brother); and sisters, Lorene Troxell and Louise Madpolinski.
Terry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Nan Douglas; daughter, Wendy Creekmore; son-in-law, Virgil Creekmore, Jr.; son, David Douglas (Anna); grandchildren, Justin Creekmore (Carletta), Leah Johnson (Michael), Sarah Creekmore (William) and Jackson Douglas; great-grandchildren, Noah Darren Creekmore, Zoey Creekmore and Adysen Creekmore; brother, Charles Douglas; sister, Eva Godsey; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held on Sunday, Jan. 20 at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico with the Rev. Scott Landes and the Rev. Eddie Wayne Barton II officiating. Visitation was held until the funeral hour. Interment followed in the Huddleston Cemetery with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 154.
Llewellyn Funeral Home, of Jellico, was in charge of the arrangements.
