Paul H Thompson

Paul H. Thompson, 77, of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, March 9.

Paul was Past Master of Masonic Lodge, Allen Park Key #580 F.&A.M. in Michigan, where he was a lifetime member, an honorary member of Stooksbury Lodge #602, F.&A.M., member of Odd Fellow Lodge, and a member of Order of Eastern Star, Caryville Chapter #415.

He loved square dancing and family reunions.

He is preceded in death by parents, Alex and Cleo Sivils Thompson; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Thompson; children, Tim Thompson, Tammy Wynette Smart and husband Barry, and Paul Alexander Thompson and wife, Kristi; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Mack Thompson and Douglas McArthur Thompson; sisters, Nellie Mae Johnson and Mary Ann Willoughby; mother-in-law, Gloria Brillhart; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family received friends on Monday, March 13, at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.

Masonic services were conducted by Stooksbury Lodge #602 F.&A.M.

Following masonic services, Eastern Star Services was conducted by Eastern Star Caryville Chapter #415.

Immediately following Eastern Star Services, funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Bryan Burge.

At the conclusion of funeral services, family and friends proceeded to Bakers Forge Cemetery for graveside services and interment with military honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of arrangements.
