Althea T. Battle Williams, age 60 of 72 S. Kight Circle died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Emory Mid-Town Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. Williams was born on July 6, 1953 in Troup County, Georgia, to the late Alton and Virginia Battle. She attended the Public Schools and she obtained some college credit. She served as a Police Officer with the City of LaGrange for over 14 years before an untimely Retirement. Mrs. Williams spent her life serving her community.
Survivors include her children, Shantell Battle, Rodriques Hart, Ashley Rivera and Jordan Battle; three siblings, Sandra battle, Scotty Shepard and Christopher Battle; grandchildren, Jordan Battle, Malaysia Hart, Caleb Hart, Chloe Hart and Jade Rivera; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Althea T. Williams will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 3:30 P.M. at Faith Temple Church of Deliverance. Elder W.J. Fountain will officiate with burial at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at her home. Condolences may e expressed athttp://www.westgeorgiamortuary.com/.
