Steven Carl Hightower, Jr passed away Thursday at Emory Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was born March 7, 1988 in LaGrange, Georgia to Patricia Boykin and Steven Hightower, Sr.
He was a member of Eagles Nest Cathedral in West Point, Georgia. Steven graduated from Troup County Comprehensive High School, Class of 2006. He was an employee of Johnson Controls until he was diagnosed as disabled.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Boykin; father, Steven (Roxie) Hightower, Sr.; three brothers, Mylan Hightower, Raken Walker, and Michael (Michelle) Russell; five sisters, Keisha Boykin, MiEsha Boykin, Milana Hightower, Charity Webb and Tracy Hill; god-mothers, Bridget Stanley and Carol Mobley; god-brothers, Michael Hardy and Stephen Russell; god sisters, LaShika Smith and Jessica Black; one niece, three nephews, a special lady; and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives, family, and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Eagles Nest Cathedral. Apostle Melvin A. Cartwright will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
