Kevin Ronquillo Obituary

Kevin Ronquillo, beloved son and brother, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, in Hong Kong where he had lived for the last several years. Kevin was born February 6, 1986, and raised in San Diego, attended Chaparral Elementary School, Twin Peaks Middle School, and Poway High School where he played lacrosse.

Friends and family will remember Kevin for his wonderful spirit, his kind heart, being a free thinker, his passion, and larger than life attitude.
Kevin is survived by his father, David; mother, Carol; brother, Brian; sister, Kristen; nephew, Caiden; and aunt, Betty.
A tribute to honor Kevin and celebrate his life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 2:00 pm at the Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo.

Kevin's passing leaves a giant void in the lives he touched so dearly. I tutored him about 15 years ago. He was always friendly when Carol and I worked on projects at Chaparral. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry. I haven't seen Kevin since he was probably a freshman in high school. It was neat to read how much he had done since then. I really liked Kevin. God sure gave him a great family. I'm praying for you guys. May you experience God's comfort during this devastating loss.

I was shocked to read of your loss. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. I never knew your son but I remember both of you from McInnis many years ago. I hope that you quickly reach the place where the happy memories overshadow the sadness.

My heart is filled with pain for your entire family. I remember Kevin as that wonderful 6th grader with the beautiful eyes and great smile. Such a friendly guy, nice to all. I won't say he is in a better place because the best place he could be is right here with his family and friends, but I will say he is in a safer place. Love from his 6th grade teacher.
