Arlene Pignatari Obituary

Arlene Pignatari Arlene Pignatari, 76 years old of Bristol, WI passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. She was born October 25, 1932 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Walter J. and Catherine (Ulka) Miller. Arlene grew up in Chicago, where she graduated from Fohrman High School. In 1958, she moved to Lindenhurst, and settled in Bristol in 1963. Arlene worked as an office manager for the Globe Department Store for many years, but her true career was being a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. She also enjoyed camping. On April 20, 1979 she married Alfred Pignatari and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2007. Survivors include her three sons, Gary (Ellyn) of Richmond, Gregory of Chicago, and Geoffrey of Bristol; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband Al, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles J. Pawlowski; a son, Glenn Pawlowski; and her brother, LeRoy Miller. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Monday, June 29, 2009 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83). Visitation will be from 10AM until time of services.
