Jeffrey J. Hutchings

Hutchings, Jeffrey J. 51 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Sunday June 10, 2012 at the Hospice Alliance Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born February 10, 1961 in Waukegan, IL the son of William and Irus (Olcott) Hutchings and has been a lifelong resident of Lake County. He was a Godly man of character with a strong Faith in Jesus Christ and was an active member of Hope Community Church in Lindenhurst, IL. Jeff had a warm and gentle heart, very sharing of his time and talents. He was an electrician and worked for Hospira, Cherry Electric, Flolo and Six Flags. His hobbies included playing tennis, fishing, golfing, camping, solving puzzles and model trains. He also enjoyed yard working and bonfires. On June 11, 2005 he married Kandi Cary in Antioch and was a wonderful loving husband, son, brother and stepfather. Survivors include his wife Kandi, a son Jacob Heuvelman and daughter Kimberly Heuvelman both of Antioch, his parents Bill and Irus Hutchings of Antioch, a sister Laura (Eric) Main of Wadsworth, IL, two brothers Billy Hutchings of Wildwood, IL and Bart (Wanda) Hutchings of Silver Lake, WI and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, grandparents and best buddy Grandma Bee. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Sat. June 23, 2012 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St, with Pastor Wayne Okamoto of Hope Community Church officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the services.
