Louise Dorsey

Louise Dorsey (nee Gross) 90 of Gurnee, passed away on October 10, 2015. She was born May 17, 1925 in Bloomsburg PA. She was married to Donald Dorsey who preceded her in death in 1986. Together, they raised 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters. Louise was a member of St. Patricks Church, enjoyed reading, knitting Christmas stockings and the Cubs. Louise is survived by her sons Donald (Stephanie) Dorsey, Leo (Cheryl) Dorsey, Roberta Dorsey and Mary Dorsey ; 5 grandchildren, Raechel, Douglas, Mitchell (Joanna), Kirsten and Miranda, 3 great-grandchildren ; Olivia, Harper, and Madison. She was preceded by her husband Donald, her parents Joseph and Adeline Gross, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee IL. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday October 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Patricks Church, 15000 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL with burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. In Lieu of flowers donations in Louise's name may be made to the Warren Newport Library.
