Marie Mirr

Marie R. Mirr, 87, of Waukegan, IL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after a brief stay in the hospital battling pneumonia. She was a very fair, loving, caring, thoughtful, and honest lady. Above all she was true to her faith. She was active in her church and community. She was always helping others and was a great role model for all. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Mirr; son Gordon "Pat" Mirr; and daughter Sharon Mirr. She is survived by her daughter Donna Greenlee of Duncanville, TX; daughter-in-law Patricia Mirr of Morrow, GA; granddaughters DeAnna Pence of Jonesboro, GA, Danette Fairman of Chester, VA, Laurie Blankenship of Kemp, TX, Brandi Schlottman of Ennis, TX, and Sara Fred of Kennedale, TX; grandsons Craig Mirr of Jonesboro, GA and Josh Greenlee of Red Oak, TX; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church, 10655 W Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, IL.
