Ed Locklear Obituary

Mr. Ed Lacy Locklear, 63, of Lake City, FL died on June 20, 2016 while on vacation with his family. Ed is predeceased by his father, Carl Wyatt Locklear. Ed is survived by his daughter and son in law, Christine and Chris Martin and their children: James, Johnny, Isabella, Jacob and Bradon, Ed's mother, Madelin Locklear, Ed's sister and brother in law, Carla and Jerry Ashmore. A memorial service was held on June 25, 2016. Ed's friend, Reverend Richard Heston, performed the service at his church, Lake City Baptist Temple. Ed had a love for electronics. In his retirement he was involved with the CB/HAM radio club, repairing and building computers. In his youth he worked on jet engines for the Air Force, Flight Systems Inc and Aero Corp. Ed had a wonderful sense of humor even up until his passing.

Dear Madeline and Ed's Children, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Ed very well, but knew him in his young days. I remember that he was a very likable young man.
