Janice Prince Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lois Christie and was raised with the values of hard work, compassion, and family. Janice was a loving sister to Evelyn Lee, Maryland Green, Bernice Tripp, and Virginia Christie.
Janice dedicated her life to caring for her home and her family. She was a proud mother to five children: David Lee Prince and his wife, Amanda Kay Prince; Edwin Dwayne Prince; Robert Daniel Prince; Hayley Michelle Prince and Tiffany Marie Prince.
She was also blessed with grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Jeremy Lee Prince, Justin Lion Prince, Jadon Lane Prince, Aaron Kristopher Prince, Carter Blackburn, and Cali Blackburn. Her great-grandchild, Tre Remy, added even more love to her life.
Janice will be remembered for the love she poured into her home and family. She gave everything she had, her time, her strength, and her whole heart to those she cherished. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, and selflessness will continue to guide her loved ones for years to come.
It is both tender and meaningful that Janice's family will gather to celebrate her life on her birthday, honoring the day she entered this world as they say their final goodbyes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Prince will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. A visitation with the family will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3596 S Highway 441, Lake City, FL 32055. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Memorial Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S.
