Michael Leon "Mike" Krieghauser

Michael Leon "Mike" Krieghauser, 62 of Lake City, passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his home. Mike was born in Live Oak, Florida to the late Donald Leon and Barbara Ann Daugherty Krieghauser. He was raised in Lake City and attended Columbia High School where he played on the baseball team and graduated in the class of 1981. Mike was a Christian and was currently a member of Wellspring Church in Lake City. Mr. Krieghauser was a Master Craftsman and managed 386 Style Inc. in Lake City with his wife. He loved salt water fishing and playing church league softball. Mike loved sports and enjoyed following the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team and the Duke Blue Devils Basketball Team. He truly loved the companionship of his dogs but above all, Mike loved to spend time with his family watching movies, going to eat or just being together. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Brandi Michelle Krieghauser-Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Tara Marchant Krieghauser, Lake City; his children, Sean Krieghauser (Jamie), Lake City, Micah Trey Krieghauser, Lake City and Taran Jace Krieghauser-Hawkins (Logan), Ft. Bragg, NC; and his grandchildren, Avah Rose Jackson, Alivia Grace Jackson, Emily Mariella Krieghauser, Evan Michael Krieghauser and Ethan James Krieghauser.
Funeral services for Mr. Krieghauser will be conducted on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Christ Central in Lake City with Pastor Chad Rogers, Pastor Dustin Busscher and Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A time of visitation with the family will be Monday evening, December 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
