Ms. Sharon Elaine Creel

Ms. Sharon Elaine Creel, 63 of Lake City, FL passed away Friday night, October 28th, 2022, at Baya Pointe Nursing Home after battling an incurable disease known as Alzheimer's. Sharon was surrounded by her loved ones when she went to her heavenly home.
Sharon previously worked and lived in Jacksonville, Orange Park and Keystone Heights. She was a beloved ESE teachers' aide at a school in Columbia County and Clay County for many years. Sharon loved her family very much and would always put them first. She enjoyed spending time with family, taking family vacations to the Mountains in TN and in her younger years was an involved member at her Pentecostal church. She enjoyed reading novels, watching TV shows and movies, and was a skillful shopper. Most importantly Sharon was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Ms. Sharon Creel was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Christine Creel.
She is survived by her 3 siblings, 11 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. Brothers David Creel of Middleburg, Steve Creel (Lydia) of Green Cove Springs, Sister Angie May (Kenny) of Lake City. Her Nieces and Nephews Rachel Creel (Deb) of Gainesville, Brooke Creel Williamson (Brent) of Lake City, Jessica Creel Bates (Charles) of Orange Park, Amanda May Strickland (Jason) of Lake City, Samantha Creel Rey (Julian) of Rockville, Maryland, Stan Creel (Briana) of Green Cove Springs, Kenneth May Jr. of Lake City, and Casydi, Thomas, Lauryn, and James Creel all of Middleburg. Great Nieces and Nephews Haley and Nathan Stapleton (Brooke), Kinsleigh and Kade Strickland (Amanda).
Funeral Services for Ms. Sharon Creel will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:00am at First Full Gospel Church of Lake City with Brother Stanley Ellis. Interment will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 1st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at First Full Gospel Church of Lake City, FL. The family asks that all food be dropped off to the First Full Gospel Church the day of the funeral service. The family also asks that all floral arrangements be sent to First Full Gospel Church of Lake City, FL. ICS Cremation and Funeral Home will oversee all arrangements.
