Shayla I still can't believe you're gone. When I heard the news I had a million thoughts. Asking God why you? Why so soon? Crying and praying myself to sleep. But one thing I've learned over the years of my life. God makes things happen for a reason. Shayla baby no more pain no more suffering. I love and miss you and make sure you tell my grandma (Maggie Stewart) the same. One day we will meet again......

Shayla. last night at your wake I said I want to use your name using songs or try to describe you in a song. I was asked at your funeral and burial had I written it. My response was no. I really will miss you singing in the youth choir with your beautiful smile and joyful spirit. Well, I'll give it a try.
S- Sing, Shayla sing! You have joined God's Heavenly choir.
H- heavenly angels are rejoicing
A-acknowledging your presence and singing
Y- Yes!, I'll say yes!, Oh Yes!, Yes to your will, yes to your way
L- Lord, lift Shayla up where she belong
A- and guide her safely home.
Miss You, Mrs. Rita
