Winston Lenard English

Winston Lenard English was born December 27, 1975, to Altamease Smith and Winston English. He entered eternal rest on November 15, 2025, at UF Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Florida, surrounded by his family.
Winston was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the public schools of Columbia County, proudly graduating with the class of 1996. After completing High School, at a later age, Winston moved to Fort Lauderdale to take care of his cousin Kendrick English. He enjoyed playing games on his phone and talking on facetime with his family and friends. He also loved walking over to his uncle Buster's home to watch football, wrestling, racing, and gardening together. Winston will be remembered for his infectious smile, and uplifting and loving personality. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Precedents in death includes his father, Winston English; grandparents, Ardelbert Carter, Blanche Carter, Leola English; numerous aunts, uncles, other family members.
Cherished and loving memories are forever embedded in the heart of his loving and devoted mother, Altamese Smith; children, Myles English and Winston English; siblings, James English, Rictor Smith, Kenneth English, Tevin English, Whitney English, Brittany English, and Kimberly English; aunts, Voncille, Barbara, Sarah, Maxine, Evelyn (Hilton), Eva Mae, Gwen, Lorraine (Amos); uncles, Herbert, Rev. Cleaveland (Shirley), Gary, Jerome (Glorraine); hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; school moms, Mrs. Betty Kelly and Mrs. Gwendolyn Robinson.
Funeral services for Winston L. English will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, 8406 SW County Rd 242, Lake City, FL.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Philadelphia MB Church.
