Charles Guy Phillips, 68
Charles Guy Phillips passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Lakeview, Oregon.
Guy was born to Ellis Dale and Mary Louise (Leslie) Phillips on July 9, 1956, in Watsonville, Calif.
He grew up in Watsonville, Calif., but later his family moved to Morgan Hill, Calif., where he graduated from Live Oak High School. Guy also lived in Clinton, Arkansas, before moving to Lakeview, Oregon, in 2003.
Guy was an equipment operator for the California Department of Forestry and worked for Lilly Rist Equipment. He also spent some time working on a Christmas tree Farm.
He loved to spend time in the woods with his dogs, but mostly he loved his family and his grandson. You will be immeasurably missed by them.
Guy is survived by his wife Cheryl of Lakeview, Oregon; sons, Justin Phillips of Lakeview, Oregon, and Cory Phillips of Oak Harbor, Wash.; his sister Belinda Phillips of Morgan Hill, Calif., and grandson Easton Phillips of Lakeview, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions can be made in Guy's honor to Lake District Hospital, C/O the Cancer Travel Fund, 700 South J Street, Lakeview, Oregon 97630, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
