Donald Norman Arquette,74, of Irons, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, with visitation starting at 10am.

After a recent Board of Commissioners´ meeting, Don was somewhat distraught explaining that his phone service had been turned off since his late wife Cookie took care of the bill. I said, "Man, you´re gonna have to get an Obama phone." We all laughed along with him.

Don once shared with me a little story about the first time he saw his wife Cookie when they were just young. She was riding a bicycle and her red hair was blowing in the wind. In that moment he fell in love with her. His story made me smile. Thanks Don.
