Jon Francis Lund of Ingleside, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family on October 16, 2025.
Born on December 2, 1952, to John Francis Lund and Irene Elizabeth (Tyrrell) Lund, Jon had a true love for the lakes, boating, waterskiing, snowmobiling and 'tinkering' in his garage. Jon enjoyed the simple life and was ALWAYS willing to lend a hand. He often reminisced on his fond memories of his youthful years, spending time with his friends in Williams Bay, WI and racing muscle cars.
Jon is lovingly remembered by his children, Rebecca Marie (Lund) Mauch (Benjamin Mauch) and Jereme Jon Lund (Karolina Lund); and his five grandchildren, Brianna Rae Lund, Brodie Jon Lund, Kate Marie Mauch, Julia Marie Mauch and Jax Robert Mauch.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Kenneth Jay Lund and Lenore Dorothea Lund.
In keeping with his wishes, a celebration of life will be planned in the spring to honor Jon's memory.
