Terrence Paul Burk

FONTANA - Terrence Paul Burk of Fontana, age 93, of Fontana, Wisc., passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Lakeland Healthcare Center in Elkhorn, Wisc. He was born on April 27, 1932, the son of Jewell and Johanna (Knack) Burk.
Terrence was united in marriage to Dorothy Hoffman, sharing 64 wonderful years together until her passing on November 2, 2018. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and built a successful career in construction management, where he was a respected member of the Suburban Contractors and Northwest Builders Association.
Terry graduated from Colorado College in 1954 on a football scholarship, earning his degree in Business. After graduation, he immediately joined the Marines and served his country with pride. A lifelong Chicago Bears fan and season ticket holder for 70 years, Terry's loyalty to his team never wavered.
He and Dorothy shared a love of adventure; sailing the Caribbean and traveling the world together. In his younger years, Terry cherished taking his family camping in the Canadian wilderness. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hosting family and friends, always eager to cook and share his famous bananas foster for dessert.
Above all, Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (Barbara) Burk of Marshall, Va., David (Kimberly) Burk of Streamwood, Ill., Amy (David) Ludwig of Bella Vista, Ark. and Jennifer (Paul Ivanowski) Cook of Sun Prairie, Wisc.; his grandchildren, Sarah (Mitchell) Ross, Eric Ludwig, Ryan (Kelly) Burk, Nathan (MaKenna) Cook, Daniel Cook, and Rachel (Dae'von Britford) Cook; and his great-grandchildren, Emmett Burk, Addison Ross, and Cameron Britford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Johanna Burk; his beloved wife, Dorothy; and his brother, Jewell V. Burk Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Toynton Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha Street, Walworth, WI. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at
