My heart is still breaking. Mom & Dad Grant are the first and one of very few couples that you could just look at them and see the true complete love they had for one another. You never saw him look at her without seeing how completely in love with her he was. I know that I am a better person for having all of you in my life growing up and I will never be able to thank you enough for sharing her with me.

Alice was truly one of the sweetest and most thoughtful persons I have ever known. I met her when I joined Mid-Ohio Psychological Services in 1996. For her entire time there, she served as the voice of morality and was one of the few people I ever saw Brad take orders from. She is dearly missed. To her family, you are in my prayers. May your happy memories provide some solace during this very difficult time.

I met Alice in 2002 when I started working for MOPS. She was the sweetest, kindest, most genuine person I've ever met. After my sister died, and I was struggling to cope, her friendship was an amazing comfort to me. She was the first person to ever hold my daughter (apart from my husband and myself) and when she moved to Crooksville, I used to love driving past her house to get home and knowing that someone that awesome lived so close by. After I moved to Australia, I loved reading her blog and keeping up with her through emails. The world has lost one of it's best people, but she'll live forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

the first time I met Alice I hiked back the lane in McArthur through the snow (blizzard of 1978) to get to the house. The snow was so deep they were leaving the cars at the main road. I think she hid her shock pretty well that I had married her brother-in law! Through the past 36-plus years, she has been my friend, sister, and confidante. She and Jim were always gracious and loving hosts with warm and open hearts. The Bill Grant family will miss her forever.
