Benjamin Doherty Obituary
Lancaster: Benjamin Guy Doherty, 74 of Lancaster, born September 10th, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was surrounded by his daughters, Stephanie (Chris) Downing and Tiffany Craig. He was also surrounded by his close family friends, Krista Peterson and Jessica Sanford.
Ben is survived by his brother, Robert Doherty of Wisconsin; his children, Stephanie (Chris) Downing, Guy, Keith (Stacey), Shawn (Michelle), Joseph, Stacy Cerone and Brian Phelps. Ben had 13 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime, brother-at-heart, Ed Bennett. Ben was proceeded in death by his mother, Gladys Spicker and sisters, Joan Brihn and Janet Allison.
Ben Retired from TS Trim Industries in Canal Winchester; he also retired from Hordis Brothers. He was a longtime member of VFW Post 1380, Anglers Paradise, and the Lancaster F.O.E.
A Celebration of Life for Benjamin will take place Saturday November 11, 2017 at the VFW Post 1380 located at 1131 Sugar Grove Rd, Lancaster, OH at noon.
