Gary was mentor to me growing up in Obetz, Ohio. We both attended Obetz Methodist church back then and Hamilton Twp. High School, although several years ahead of me. I believe God touched Gary's life as delineated in his obituary. I last saw Gary at the high school basketball tournament games at the coliseum at the fairgrounds and he was the some old Gary. So sorry about his passing.

Uncle Gary
Of all the many blessings
How ever great or small
To have you for my uncle
Was the greatest one of all.
The family chain is broken now.
And nothing seems the same.
But as God takes us one by one
The chain will link again.
Uncle Ogg. You were my hero, my friend
My brother, my uncle.
Until we meet again.
Love you PEACH.

Dear Mauller Family,
Deepest prayers for your family in your time of sorrow. I had the honor of playing for Coach. From him, we learned that education, hard work, loyalty and commitment go along ways towards accomplishing goals on the field and in life. We were very lucky to have such a noble man impact our life. THANKS and God's speed coach. I will truly miss you!

A giant of a man. My hero. Coach was the first person I met in Lancaster and he hired me although he didn't have to. He was always honest and loyal to me and demanded the same in return - all without ever saying a word. His tireless work ethic, and a great love of life, are among the many examples i will carry with me for all my life. My regret is tbat my son Jack never had the chance to meet this good and decent man. He would have been better for it. Tboughts and prayers from my family to yours.
