Helen Nichols Obituary
PLEASANTVILLE: Helen E. Nichols 93, of Pleasantville, Ohio formerly of Landfair, passed away December 12, 2016 at Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Helen was born August 6, 1923 in New Plymouth, Ohio to William Jacob and Mary Milsted. She was a loving mother and grandmother; and was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are children, Judy (Merle) Conley of Logan, Darrell (Barb) Thomas Cook of Cave City, KY, Bonnie (James) Weaver of Lancaster, William Daniel Nichols of Medina, Ohio, Christy Miller of Lodi, and Donna Marie (Robert) Davis of McArthur; 23 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren; 53+ great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Herman Cook and Virgil A. Nichols; daughter Carolyn Carsey; son-in-law Gary Cottrill; grandson Danny Todd Nichols; great-grandson Shane Johnson; great-great-granddaughter Emily Wilson; and siblings, Ethel Hammond, Hazel Richie, Margaret Rose, Nellie Boals, and William "Bud" Milsted.
The family wants to send a thank you to her special friends at Landfair, Harold Moneypenny, Shannon, Jammie, Tameka, Katliyn, Frank & Angie, Rita, and Bailey.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with Pastor Betty Brooks officiating. Burial will be in New Plymouth Cemetery, New Plymouth, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed Friday, December 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
The family sends special thanks to FMC staff and Pickering House staff for their wonderful care.
