June Angle Obituary
LOGAN: June Irene Phelps Angle, 80, of Logan, Ohio passed away October 14, 2015 at her residence in Logan, Ohio.
June was born June 12, 1935 in Logan, Ohio to Parley Nash and Ethel Florence Phelps. She was a 1953 graduate of Logan High School and class historian and was an active member of Freedom Memorial Church for 25 years and held the position of Missionary president for years.
Surviving are her son, Clarence L. Angle Jr. of Logan; daughters, Anita K. (Robert) Carr of Logan, Connie F. (Larry) Huffines of Logan, Becky (David) Miller of Logan, Angela (Chris) Pierce of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Phil (Sandy) Phelps of Carroll; and Freedom Memorial Church Family.
June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence L. Angle, Sr. who passed away July 7, 2009; grandson, Cody Pierce; and siblings, Mark, Theodore, and Leroy Phelps, Leota Dupler Wachenschwanz, Mary Smith, Edna Mae Phelps, and Betty Bateman.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Freedom Memorial Church Logan, Ohio with Rev. Jim Mathias and Iris Conrad officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Calling hours will be observed Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio.
